1. accelerometer sensor: By using accelerometer sensor we can change the directions like portrait to auto rotate OR vertical to horizontal . Now every mobile has auto rotation option that is possible due to this type of sensor.if you click on it it rotate.

2.gyroscope sensor:If your mobile has gyroscope sensor you can watch 360 degrees videos by using VR -HEADSET and feels good compare to normal videos.
It is very useful in day and night times.
The main advantage is battery consuming is less.
The main advantage is if you lift the any call, almost your phone is near to ear. At that time screen turnoff . This is only due to the proximate sensor i.e for calling purpose this sensor is useful.
5.magnetometer sensor: It is useful like a compass sensor . This is mainly used in google maps and navigation purpose etc. For finding the directions like NORTH , SOUTH etc this sensor is useful
Coming to motog5+ in that there is no magnetometer sensor.
6.Barometer sensor: To find the atmospheric pressure and weather updates this sensor is useful.
7.heart rate sensor: we can measure the heart beat rate by using this sensor.
8.pedometer sensor: We can calculate the steps by using this sensor.

13.finger print sensor: To scan the finger prints by using this sensor we can put the password to our mobiles. This sensor is very helpful for unlocking devices .
NOTE: above sensors like heart rate sensor,pedometer sensor, blood oxygen sensor,uv sensor, air humidity sensor these are mostly available in smart watches and smart bands. Only a few mobiles have this type of sensors .
