Google Launched its
first smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL 2016. Now the company has removed both the
smartphones from its online store. This indicates the company has discontinued
the smartphones and they are no longer available for purchase directly from the
company. The Google Pixel and Pixel XL are still worth the money as both the
devices offer high-end specifications, fast processor and will also get Android
P update.
Coming to
specifications, Google Pixel XL comes with a 5.5-inch QHD display with
1440x2560 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a Corning Gorilla
Glass 4. It is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 4GB of
RAM. The smartphones comes with two storage variants -- 32GB and 128GB and the
users cannot expand the memory. Pixel XL sports an 8MP front shooter powered by
Sony IMX179 sensor and a 12.3MP rear camera with with Sony IMX378 sensor, f/2.0
aperture, and a larger 1.55um lens allowing the camera to capture more light. The
smartphone comes with 3,450 mAh battery.
Google Pixel came with
a 5-inch full HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution AMOLED display and 2770mAh
battery with fast charging support.Both the smartphones came with Android
Nougat and later received Android Oreo update. The company will also roll out
Android P update for the devices.
