Jio subscribers rised to 186.5 Millions
Reliance Jio announced that its subscriber base in India has grown to 186.6 million, adding 26.5 million users in the fourth quarter of 2017-18. The average data consumption per user per month at 9.7 GB. The average voice consumption was 716 minutes per user per month.
Jio also reported that video consumption on its network stood at over 240 crore hours per month whereas the total voice traffic during the quarter was 37,218 crore minutes. The operator also reported that the total wireless data traffic during the quarter was 506 crore GB.
Reliance Jio’s average revenue per user is Rs 137.1 a month and net profit of Rs 510 crore. Currently Reliance Jio is the world’s largest VoLTE network with the most mobile data consumption. At present, Reliance Jio is the only one operator to offer full-fledged 4G VoLTE network in the country. Now Airtel is testing its 4G VoLTE services in beta.
